OnPoint Partners has been working in and managing businesses of all sizes and types for over 75 years. We have seen a lot and we’ve learned to help our clients prepare for the unknown.
Our method of pricing our services is either hourly or fixed fee. We calculate how much work we think will be involved and price accordingly. If we believe the week-to-week work may vary a lot, we offer a fixed fee to help your budget.
Bookkeeping means different things to different people. For us the service includes all the accounting and financial services you need. We take time to go through everything with you first. We are experienced corporate accounting professionals; we have experience with many types of business from c-level to the mailroom. We can deliver whatever you need.
We work differently with each remote client. We do not make you change your accounting system. We use whatever you are currently using if it’s a desktop system we have software that allows us remote access to the terminal on which your accounting system resides. We can access web-based programs remotely from our offices. We use web-based filing systems (DropBox, OneDrive) that we know are safe. If you are a healthcare, legal, or education company we are compliant with all privacy regs.
We use QuickBooks online by default but we do not require you to change systems. We have experience in many different financial systems and fund accounting systems. For Payroll processing, we are wholesalers for ADP which means we use their software (for a reduced fee) to process payroll, pay taxes, 1099’s, W2’s and all reports. For file management, we use DropBox or OneSource as they have been proven to be the most secure.
No, you purchase only the services you need. We can price all services a la carte or in a bundle to save you money. We differentiate ourselves by offering you only what you need, when you need it.
Bookkeeping in not a data entry position to us, we hire and train our bookkeepers in Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) so they understand how accounting works and know what questions to ask. We are also QuickBooks Pro Advisors
No, we do not file taxes. We do prepare all the documents for your tax accountant, and we work with several CPA firms we can recommend.
We do not believe in hidden charges. When we provide a quote, it includes all payroll processing, quarterly taxes, W2’s, reporting and other stuff that Cheryl will tell me.
